About North of Right
North of Right is a one-person practice. I'm Seth Aho, based in Cottage Grove, MN, and I've spent 15 years as a software engineer. I still like to tinker. North of Right exists to do one thing well: build and manage secure, fast websites for small businesses that depend on their site to bring in work.
I focus on law firms and contractor businesses. For both, a site that works and a contact form that actually delivers make a direct difference in how much new work comes in.
The work
Every site is built lean, with nothing extra running behind it: no WordPress, no plugins, no stored client data. Contact forms route directly to your inbox. You own your domain and your code from day one.

Based in Cottage Grove
I've lived in Cottage Grove for over five years and know the businesses and community that make up the Twin Cities south suburbs.
Most of my work is with businesses in the east metro: Woodbury, Oakdale, Lake Elmo, Stillwater, White Bear Lake, Maplewood, Newport, Hastings, and Cottage Grove. The stack works anywhere, so I also have clients outside Minnesota.
Outside of work I'm with my kids and the dog, or out in the woods trying to keep the place healthy.
